1 OCEAN invites itself to the Camargue

1 Ocean and UNESCO present 40 photographs on giant panels to tell you about the Ocean and our explorations.

🌊 See you this week at the Festival de la Camargue! 🌊

Pilot whales (Globicephala), also known as pilot dolphins, are social animals organized in a matriarchal society. They generally travel in groups of anywhere from a dozen to a hundred individuals. Large gatherings of pilot whales can be explained by their interest in feeding or reproduction. To feed, they can dive to depths of 800 meters! Alexis Rosenfeld
