“The world’s biggest animal migration” : best photograph of the month by the scientific journal NATURE

Every year and for thousands of years, South Africa has witnesses an exceptional natural phenomenon: the world's largest animal migration. The 1 OCEAN team travelled to the country's eastern coast to witness this incredible event as part of the "Great Migration of Life" program, an integral part of the UNESCO & 1 OCEAN Foundation explorations.

This project will be the subject of a photo exhibition and documentary for the Arte channel in collaboration with La Caz'A Productions in 2024.

In this absolutely unique photo, while filming, Steven Surina gets caught by two Cape Gannets. Alexis Rosenfeld was able to capture this moment, named best photograph of the month by the famous scientific journal NATURE.
